[title size=”2″]….and we expect the same trend in the coming week[/title] [checklist icon=”angle-right” iconcolor=”” circle=”yes”

  •  We expect a flat to positive outturn in the coming week as we still see a bit of demand in both Delta and Econet. Both counters closed the week with bids only and no sellers in sight. We also expect activity to be largely confined to the big cap stocks which are more attractive to foreigners. Not much activity is expected from local players amid news that pension arrears for last year amounted to an estimated $250 million as company contributions continue to nose-dive on the back of numerous company closures.  We also believe that the insurance sector, which is also another significant player on the equities market, is constrained on the back of liquidity challenges coupled with stunted economic growth.
