Lynton-Edwards Stockbrokers provides a personalized and professional service and has since established itself as one of the dominating stockbroking companies in the market. The firm has transacted for, and assisted a number of world-class companies and currently has a diverse client base made up of both local and international investors.

The company is committed to Zimbabwe and its economy striving to play a significant role in the investing community by improving the quality of service offered to investors on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE), Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX) and Financial Securities Exchange (FINSEC).

Our Team

Murray Lynton-Edwards

Murray is a licensed Securities Dealer with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe and a member of the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange. He is the company’s founder and principal stockbroker, gained his stockbroking license in 1995 while employed by Sagit Stockbrokers. In March 1997 he co-founded Bard Stockbrokers and worked as the director responsible for dealing until June 2001 when he sold his shareholding to BancABC. He then established his own business, Lynton-Edwards Stockbrokers ( Ltd) in 2004. He was involved in the running of the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange and has occupied numerous positions on the ZSE Committee during his career.

Christopher Masendeke

Christopher is a licensed Securities Dealer with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe and a member of the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange. He started his career in stockbroking full time in 2003 and worked for different brokerage houses in Zimbabwe, gaining a lot of experience in the process. His prowess is in client relationship management, equity sales and trading. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Finance and a Master of Science in Finance and Investment, both from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Zimbabwe.

Wafa Kuchera

Wafa has been with the firm since inception. He worked at Deloitte and Touché and ABC Stockbrokers prior to joining Lynton‐Edwards, Wafa has over 16 years of experience in the industry.

Tobias Mufandaedza

Tobias joined Lynton-Edwards in November 2021. He has previously worked in various capacities in law enforcement, state business units and the financial services sector with a working history spanning over 14 years. He is a holder of Master of Science Degree in Banking and Financial Economics and Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Finance, both from National University of Science and Technology. Tobias also passed Level II of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.

Talent Chataika

Talent joined Lynton-Edwards in 2019 and is an Authorised Dealer of the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange and the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange. He is responsible for securities trading, client relationship management and research services. He studied a Bachelor of Accounting Science at the University of Johannesburg and then did Articles of Clerkship with PKF Chartered Accountants before joining the company. Talent has completed the registered persons’ examinations of the South African Institute of Financial Markets (SAIFM).
